Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 85th birthday, marked on April 22.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor joined the people of Ilorin Emirate and the entire Kwara State in celebrating the Emir’s remarkable life of service, devotion, and leadership.
Governor AbdulRazaq described the Emir as a distinguished statesman, retired jurist, revered traditional ruler, and a unifying father figure whose reign has been instrumental in fostering peace, harmony, and progress across the Emirate and beyond.
He further commended the royal father for his steadfast support and wise counsel, which have been vital to the successes of the current administration’s developmental agenda in the state.
“On behalf of my family and the government of Kwara State, I extend our heartfelt wishes to His Royal Highness for continued good health, happiness, and a lasting legacy of greatness,” the Governor stated.
