Gov. Yusuf Congratulates New Leadership of NUJ Online Media Chapel in Kano

Kano, Nigeria – Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated Abdukadir Dangambo and his team on their election into the leadership of the Online Media Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council.

In a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf lauded Dangambo’s election as a pivotal step towards advancing professionalism and ethical standards in digital journalism.

The governor also commended the leadership of the NUJ Kano Council, under the stewardship of Comrade Sulieman Dederi, for successfully establishing the Online Media Chapel, which he believes will enhance the role of media in promoting truth, fairness, and integrity.

Governor Yusuf expressed confidence that the leadership of the Online Media Chapel would set new standards in responsible and development-driven journalism, benefiting Kano State and beyond.

He assured the chapel of his administration’s continued support for initiatives aimed at fostering credible information, media development, and unity among media practitioners.

In closing, the governor wished the new executive council a successful tenure and urged them to prioritize professionalism, capacity-building, and the advancement of online journalism as a tool for the state’s growth and progress.
