Taraba NULGE President Wakili Commends Members for Support, Pledges Continued Reforms

The President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Taraba State chapter, Comrade Bajison Wakili, has commended union members for their unwavering support and prayers, attributing the union’s progress to their dedication.

Addressing local government workers at the NULGE office in Jalingo following the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration, Wakili acknowledged the pivotal role of members in advancing the union’s objectives. He urged continued commitment and solidarity to further strengthen the association.

Wakili also expressed gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for his steadfast support of local government workers. He highlighted the governor’s efforts in ensuring the welfare of civil servants and encouraged workers to remain dedicated to their duties.

Regarding the ongoing NULGE elections across the state, Wakili reported that elections have been concluded in most local government areas, with only two remaining. He assured members that the process would be completed promptly.

Under Wakili’s leadership, several reforms and initiatives have been introduced to enhance the union’s service delivery.

He reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, accountability, and the welfare of members.
