The President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Taraba State Chapter, Comrade Bajison Damunga Wakili, has called on local government workers in the state to exhibit higher levels of dedication and commitment to their duties.

Wakili made the appeal during an interview with The NEWSPOINTER at the union’s secretariat in Jalingo.
He emphasised the importance of punctuality and proactive service delivery, noting that public servants must justify their employment through diligence and consistency.
“The time has come for workers to take their responsibilities seriously. We must show up and do the work the public expects of us,” he said.

The NULGE leader also lauded the Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for his responsiveness to the welfare of local government employees.
He described the governor’s intervention as timely and commendable, and expressed optimism for sustained collaboration between the union and the state government.
