The Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has announced the constitution of the Amirul Hajj team for the 2025 pilgrimage to Mecca.
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, the appointed members are:
HRH Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim Sambo, the Kpanti Zing – Amirul Hajj
HRH Alhaji Yakubu Tafida, the Chief of Jibu Wukari – Member
HRH Alhaji Abubakar Muhmud Adamu, the Kur Jibu – Member/Secretary
Governor Kefas expressed confidence in the team’s ability to oversee a successful and spiritually enriching pilgrimage. He urged the team and all intending pilgrims to pray for the continued peace and development of Taraba State during the Hajj.
The 2025 Hajj is expected to draw thousands of Muslim faithful from across Nigeria and the world to the holy land of Mecca.
