The Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Musa Ahmed Mohammed, has called on residents to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray for Governor Abdullahi Sule, the unity of Nigeria, and the progress of the state.
Mohammed, in a statement issued on Thursday in Lafia, urged Muslims and non-Muslims alike to reflect on the values of peace, sacrifice, and compassion associated with the festival.
“Eid-el-Kabir is a time of sacrifice, gratitude, and devotion. I urge the good people of Nasarawa State to pray for our Governor, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, for continued divine guidance and wisdom in leading the state,” he said.

Mohammed, a former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, said Nigeria’s unity was critical at this time and called on citizens to remain hopeful and committed to nation-building.
He also extended his greetings to Muslim faithful and urged residents to show love to the less privileged during the celebration.

While wishing residents a peaceful Sallah, he appealed for responsible celebration and urged continued support for the developmental agenda of the state government.
“Let us work together, in peace and unity, for the growth and prosperity of Nasarawa State and our country,” he added.
