The President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Taraba State Chapter, Comrade Bajison Wakili Damunga, has felicitated the Muslim Ummah in the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Adha celebration.
Damunga, in a statement on Thursday, congratulated all Muslim members of NULGE and the entire Muslim community in Taraba for witnessing another Eid, which he described as a time of sacrifice, reflection, and devotion.

He prayed for Allah’s blessings upon all celebrants and urged Muslims to use the festive period to promote unity, peace, and love among people of all faiths.
“The Eid-el-Adha celebration reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience to Allah, and compassion toward one another,” the statement read in part.

Damunga also called on the Muslim faithful to continue praying for the peace, progress, and stability of Taraba State and the country at large.
He reiterated NULGE’s commitment to fostering unity and supporting the welfare of its members, irrespective of religious affiliation.
