The Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Taraba State chapter, Hon. Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan, on Saturday received Sallah homage from various groups at his residence in Jalingo.
Those who paid homage included directors and councillors of the local government, persons living with disabilities, women and youth groups, and religious leaders.

The visits, which came as part of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, were marked by goodwill messages and expressions of solidarity with the chairman.
Speaking during the visits, Dr. Hassan thanked the various groups for their show of support and urged residents to remain committed to peace, unity, and mutual respect. He called on Muslims to use the festive period to pray for the development and stability of Taraba State.
“Our strength lies in our unity and shared commitment to peace,” he said. “I urge everyone to continue playing their part in building a more inclusive and progressive society.”
