Dozens of U.S. military cargo planes carrying munitions and military equipment have landed at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel, according to Israeli media reports. The deliveries come as the region faces heightened tensions and ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Since the conflict began in October 2023, the U.S. has sent over 10,000 tons of military supplies to Israel. This includes hundreds of cargo flights and shipments of armored vehicles, artillery shells, and protective gear to bolster Israel’s defense capabilities.

Recent deliveries included heavy munitions such as MK-84 bombs and interceptor missiles for air defense systems. These supplies arrived at key bases, including the Negev Airbase, a strategic hub for Israeli military operations.

The increase in U.S. support follows regional escalations, including a missile strike near Ben Gurion Airport by Houthi forces in Yemen, which led to temporary flight suspensions and retaliatory Israeli airstrikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah Port.
