JALINGO TARABA – June 27, 2025
Governor Agbu Kefas has signed 173 Certificates of Occupancy (C of Os), in what is being described as a major milestone in Taraba State’s land reform programme.
The signing, which took place in Jalingo, is aimed at formalising land ownership across the state—providing security for landholders and opening new opportunities for investment and development.

Land authorities in the state noted that the new batch of C of Os comes as the Taraba Geographic Information System (TAGIS) intensifies efforts to digitise land records and streamline the process for obtaining land titles.
