Elders of the Nding Chin community in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State have endorsed the council chairman, Hon. Mohammed J. Umar, for a second term in office.
The endorsement was made during a gathering held in the community on Friday, where the elders commended the chairman for what they described as his commitment to peace, inclusive governance, and grassroots development.

Speaking on behalf of the elders, Malam Abubakar Tizhe said Hon. Umar had demonstrated leadership capacity through various developmental projects spread across the LGA.
“He has carried every community along, ensured peaceful coexistence, and executed people-oriented programmes. We believe another term will allow him to consolidate on these achievements,” he said.
The elders also noted improvements in rural infrastructure, youth empowerment, and conflict resolution efforts under Umar’s leadership, urging him to continue prioritising the welfare of the people.
In his remarks, Hon. Umar thanked the elders for their show of support, pledging to continue serving with transparency, fairness, and a focus on development.
