The Chairman of Sardauna Local Government Area in Taraba State, Hon. Mohammed J. Umar, has been credited for ushering in a new era of infrastructural growth, transparency in governance, and community inclusion since assuming office.

Umar, a grassroots politician and known as peace advocate, has prioritized infrastructural development, with several communities across the Sardauna witnessing improved road networks, healthcare facilities, water projects, and schools.

Investigation by NEWSPOINTER, noted that Umar’s administration has executed projects aimed at bridging the infrastructure gap, particularly in rural areas. It added that the Chairman has adopted a participatory approach to governance, allowing for inputs from traditional rulers, youth groups, and civil society actors.

“Hon. Umar has consistently engaged with stakeholders across the LGA, ensuring projects reflect the needs of the people. His open-door policy has created an accessible platform for communication between the government and residents,” the statement said.

“Our focus is on deepening development at the grassroots. We are committed to policies that touch lives directly and uplift our communities,” he told reporters at a recent town hall meeting.
