Prominent development advocate and legal practitioner, Alhaji Kashim ated students – Nafisa Abdullahi (17), Ruqayya Fema (15), and Hadiza Kalli – all from Nigeria Tulip International College, Mamudo, beat over 20,000 participants from 69 countries to emerge overall best in debate, English language, and creative presentation.

Tumsah, who made the pledge in Damaturu on Tuesday, said the gesture was part of his commitment to encouraging academic excellence among youth in the state and beyond. Each of the girls will receive N500,000 and a brand new laptop.
“We proudly celebrate the outstanding achievement of these three daughters of Yobe who have brought global honour to Nigeria,” Tumsah said.
“Their performance on the international stage reflects not just personal brilliance, but the hidden potential of our youth in the North-East.”
Tumsah, fondly known as KMT, commended the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni for prioritising education and creating an enabling environment for students to excel.
“This remarkable achievement is the fruit of years of educational investment in our state. It shows that when talent meets opportunity, the results are extraordinary,” he added.

The legal expert called on other well-meaning Nigerians to support education and celebrate students who bring honour to the nation.
It would be recalled that earlier this year, Tumsah rewarded 29 UTME candidates from Yobe who scored 300 and above, with N100,000 each, in furtherance of his educational support initiatives.
