Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his felicitations to Muslims across the state and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, the governor described the commemoration as a time for sober reflection and a reminder to uphold the virtues exemplified by the Prophet.
Yusuf stressed that the Prophet’s life, anchored on peace, compassion, tolerance and unity, provides a model for building a harmonious and progressive society.
