Independence Celebration – Oct. 1, 2025
The Acting Chief of Mbamnga in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, Mbondua Sale Abubakar Dula, has felicitated with Governor Agbu Kefas and other prominent leaders on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
In his goodwill message, the traditional ruler congratulated Governor Kefas for his visionary leadership and commitment to the progress of Taraba State.
He equally extended his felicitations to the Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Kizito Bonzana, the Member representing Mbamnga Constituency, Hon. Abel Peter Diah, and the Secretary to the Government of the State, Chief Timothy Gibon Kataps, Chairman Sardauna Local Government Council, Mohammed J. Umar.
The monarch also saluted the resilience and patriotism of the people of Mbamnga Chiefdom, urging them to remain united and supportive of government’s efforts to foster peace and development.
According to him, the celebration of Nigeria’s independence should serve as a reminder of the sacrifices of the nation’s founding fathers, stressing the need for leaders and citizens alike to work together in preserving democracy and national unity.
