Speaking at the event, the leader of the group and prominent APC chieftain, Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, said the decision to back President Tinubu was borne out of his “remarkable achievements and progressive policies” aimed at repositioning the country.

According to him, President Tinubu has demonstrated genuine commitment to tackling insecurity, especially in Zamfara and other parts of the North-West, adding that several development projects have been initiated across the northern region under his administration.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing everything humanly possible to ensure that insecurity in the country, particularly in Zamfara, becomes a thing of the past,” Shinkafi said.

“He is determined, focused, and working tirelessly to fix Nigeria. We must give him all the support to return in 2027.”

The motion for the endorsement was moved by Yushau Mada and seconded by Asmau Gusau.

Shinkafi also used the opportunity to declare his intention to contest the Zamfara State governorship election under the APC platform in 2027.

Several stakeholders who attended the meeting applauded President Tinubu’s leadership and reaffirmed their loyalty to the APC, pledging support for both Tinubu’s re-election and Shinkafi’s governorship ambition.
