In a major boost for youth and sports development, Nellyval Group has sealed a partnership with the ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre (EYSDC) to advance regional initiatives aimed at empowering young people through inclusive sports.
The partnership, facilitated by the Nigeria Unconquered Foundation (NUF), was announced during a courtesy visit to Nellyval Group’s Apapa office in Lagos.

The delegation was received by the Executive Director of Nellyval Group, Dr. Goodness Anele, who represented the Chairman, Mr. Valentine Anele. She described the collaboration as part of Nellyval’s commitment to national and regional development beyond its commercial interests.
Dr. Anele noted that Nellyval Group, a diversified Nigerian conglomerate with global operations, is active in logistics, oil and gas, international trade, bonded terminals, warehousing, consultancy and business services.
“Our operations are built on reliability, efficiency, and innovation — values that align perfectly with ECOWAS’ vision for youth and sports inclusion,” she said.

According to her, discussions during the visit focused on Nellyval’s potential role in the forthcoming ECOWAS Para Games, where the company will serve as a logistics and operational partner, media supporter, and host collaborator.
Both parties agreed to develop a working framework covering logistics support for athlete kits and event materials, sponsorship and mentorship programmes, and media visibility to promote inclusive sports across West Africa.
Dr. Anele added that the partnership demonstrates the importance of public-private collaboration in driving sustainable youth empowerment and sports development across the region.
