Students – Dece. 5, 2025
Nine students sponsored abroad for postgraduate studies under the Presidential Amnesty Programme have completed their master’s degree programmes in the United Kingdom.
The beneficiaries, drawn from various communities in the Niger Delta, were part of the programme’s education component designed to enhance capacity development and promote long-term stability in the region.
Officials of the Amnesty Programme confirmed the development, noting that the students had concluded their academic work across different UK universities.
They also reiterated the programme’s commitment to supporting more beneficiaries in specialised fields to help bridge skills gaps and improve opportunities for youths in the region.
The graduates are expected to return to the country in the coming weeks.
