President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday met with six state governors at the State House, Abuja, in a high-level session aimed at fostering collaboration between the federal and state governments.
The governors who attended the meeting were Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, and Monday Okpebholo of Edo State.
The closed-door meeting provided a platform for the president to discuss ongoing federal initiatives and seek the input of state leaders on programs designed to accelerate national development.
Sources at the State House said the discussions focused on strengthening security, enhancing economic growth, and improving social welfare across the country.
