Explosion – Dec. 12, 2025
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has confirmed a gas pipeline explosion in Delta State.
In a statement on Friday, the national oil company said emergency teams were already on ground managing the situation, even as investigation into the cause of the explosion has commenced.
NNPC assured that the affected corridor has been secured to forestall any further threat, adding that its technical crew is working to stabilise the line and restore normal operations.
The company promised to release more details as the situation unfolds.
