Christmas: Kwara Health Workers Union Chairman Felicitates Christians, Calls for Prayers

The Chairman of the Kwara State Council, Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, Comrade Bolatito Isaac, has felicitated Nigerians, especially Christians, on the celebration of Christmas, marking the birth of Jesus Christ over two thousand years ago.

In his message to members of the union, as well as affiliates of organized labour, including the NLC and TUC in Kwara State, Comrade Isaac said the birth of Christ brought salvation, hope, and peace to the world.

He urged Nigerians to emulate the humility of Jesus Christ by living peacefully with one another, praying for leaders, and supporting government efforts to improve the economy. Comrade Isaac encouraged citizens to uphold values of humility, love, compassion, generosity, and peace in line with the spirit of the season.

The Chairman highlighted the importance of love, patience, perseverance, peaceful coexistence, and unity in fostering a harmonious nation. He called on Nigerians to continue supporting the administrations of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in their efforts to revamp the economy and improve living standards.

Extending warm greetings to Christians worldwide, Comrade Isaac emphasized the need for fervent prayer, assistance to the needy, and responsible celebration. He advised citizens to be law-abiding, security-conscious, and mindful of national challenges.

He further appreciated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the timely payment of workers’ salaries and the 30 per cent salary increase, urging workers to reciprocate the gesture with dedication and hard work. Comrade Isaac also stressed that the union would continue to advocate for the progress and welfare of all members.
