The Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security, Professor Nicholas Namessan Oliver, has expressed satisfaction with the progress of work at the Taraba State Green House in Jalingo.

Speaking in an interview after inspecting the remodeled facility, the Commissioner noted that vegetable production would soon commence given the rapid pace of work. He highlighted that the greenhouse has been upgraded with advanced technology introduced by Governor Agbu Kefas, including an open field for vegetable cultivation and training programs for students and farmers.
Professor Oliver reassured TSI Company Limited, the firm handling the project, of Governor Agbu Kefas’ unwavering commitment to its success.

The Managing Director of TSI Company Limited, Haggai Hochman, expressed appreciation for Governor Kefas’ support, acknowledging the administration’s role in facilitating the project.
Additionally, the Chief Agronomist, Pam Jerry Dalyop, emphasized that the greenhouse would utilize advanced agricultural technology to cultivate tomatoes, green and yellow peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, and other vegetables.

During the visit, the Commissioner toured key sections of the facility, including the nursery unit, cucumber section, water reservoir, and open field.
