The Taraba State Ministry of Education has officially approved the appointment of Education Secretaries for the sixteen local government areas (LGAs) in the state.
These appointments are currently on an acting basis, pending final ratification.
In a statement issued by Abel Bako Joachim, Secretary of the Ministry, all existing officers serving as Education Secretaries are to hand over their duties immediately to the newly appointed acting Education Secretaries.
The newly appointed acting Education Secretaries are as follows:
Bappa Kula Waturu – Ardo-Kola, Grace Duba Gari U – Bali, Jibrin Ibrahim – Donga, Luka Charles Kontan – Gashaka, Hashimu Sarkin Yamma – Gassol and Bala Adi James – Ibi.
Others are Isah Sani – Jalingo, Ibrahim Ishaq – Karim Lamido, Chidawa D Shino – Kurmi, Genesis Sam Solomon – Sardauna, Shehu Baban-Kogi Danji – Takum, Akimki Obadiah – Ussa, Alagye Andokari Ezekiel – Wukari, David Abba Kuwati – Yorro and Fintana Jonathan – Zing
The Ministry emphasized the importance of this transition, stressing the need for continuity and effective administration within the education sector of each LGA.
This move is expected to bring about positive changes and improvements in the management of educational activities and policies across the state.
