The District Head of Tsokundi, Manu Irimiya Bako Adi, has expressed his gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for approving the ongoing electrification project in the community.

In an interview with our correspondent, the district head praised the efforts so far, noting that poles have already been erected.
However, he urged the government to expedite the completion of the project, as the residents eagerly anticipate the benefits, particularly in enhancing local economic activities.
Adi Bako emphasized that Tsokundi boasts arable land ideal for farming crops such as rice, cassava, and others.

Once the electrification project is completed, he added, the community will no longer face the challenges of traveling long distances for electricity-dependent activities.
Former youth leader Manessh Yakubu Tsokundi also commended Governor Kefas for siting the project in their community, stressing that it would significantly improve the lives of residents.

He further called on the governor to ensure the completion of the road project started by the previous administration.
Meanwhile, Nuhu Haye, the site engineer, revealed that the electrification project is 90% complete. He assured that with continued funding, the work will be finished by May.

Haye further affirmed that the project is being executed to high standards and thanked the community for their unwavering support.
At the time of filing this report, work was still ongoing at the project site.
