The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has extended warm felicitations to a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Wahab Isa, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, the Speaker commended Hon. Isa’s outstanding contributions to the development of Kwara State and Nigeria at large. He described him as a seasoned grassroots politician with an exemplary record of service.
Hon. Isa’s public service journey includes serving as the Executive Chairman of both Ilorin East and Ilorin South Local Government Councils. Additionally, he represented the Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, where he played a pivotal role in legislative matters and constituency development.
Rt. Hon. Danladi-Salihu highlighted Hon. Isa’s efforts in promoting human capital development through employment facilitation and empowerment initiatives.
“As you mark this special milestone, we celebrate your remarkable achievements and steadfast commitment to improving the lives of our people. Your contributions to the political landscape and grassroots development in Kwara State remain an inspiration,” the Speaker remarked.
The Speaker concluded by praying for Hon. Isa’s continued good health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to the people of Kwara State and the nation.
