Anniversary: 24 Hours to go Gov. Kefas inspect Projects

As part of the celebration of the first anniversary in office, the Taraba State Government, reiterated their commitment to the provision of basic infrastructural development in the state.

The Governor Dr Agbu Kefas, represented by the state Deputy Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, stated this while briefing journalists shortly after inspecting on-going development projects at the Taraba State College of Nursing Science and Midwifery in Jalingo.

Doctor Agbu Kefas said his administration will continue to work towards the completion of all the ongoing projects to improve the infrastructures in the state.

Jalingo Times reported that the Governor was conducted round the project site to see the levels of work done which at between sixty to seventy per cent completion by the project supervisor.

The ongoing projects visited within the Jalingo metropolis include College Nursing Science and Midwifery, Trailer Park at Kpantinapu, Danbaba Suntai Airport, College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Ultra-modern Abbatoir at Wurosembe, Kachalla sembe ward.

Speaking the Governor Dr Agbu Kefas expressed satisfaction with the levels of work done at the sites, promising people of the state of more life touching projects.

Commenting, Commissioner, Taraba State Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development,Honorable Mary Sinjen, applauded the Governor for embarking on developmental projects and called on Tarabans to support him for more dividends of democracy.

On his part, the contractor handling the projects, Engineer Jerry Joseph, the Kauran Kaltungo said, they were currently handling five projects which two have already been completed successfully remaining three that are ongoing, and hoping to complete them in a couple of months.

The Secretary to the Government of the State, SGS Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, commissioners, members of the state Assembly and other Government officials were on the entourage of the Governor.
