The Executive Chairman of Ardo Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, Hon. Zakari Ismail (Dangote) has described Governor Agbu Kefas as the best performing Governor in the 36 States of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Dangote as he was popularly called stated this Wednesday before Journalists in Jalingo while allaying the stewardship of Governor Kefas for the past one year in office.
The Council Chairman, who expressed joy that his local government council, ‘Ardo Kola’ was the most beneficial among the 16 Councils and 2 special development areas in the State disclosed that he has the most admired developmental projects under Kefas’ one year in office.
He mentioned such institutions as the Taraba State University (TSU) located at ATC, Kofai community, the Danbaba Danfulani Suntai Airport under-going construction and modernization to an international standard, situated along Wukari – Jalingo road in Ardo Kola lgc.
“The State College of Agriculture, Science and Technology located at ATC kofai of the local government area which before now, looked like a glorified primary school but on assumption of office, Dr. Kefas has changed the narrative of the institution with the award of developmental projects in the College”,
“The people of Ardo Kola are happy with the Governor owing to his leadership styles. We are happy and we will continue to support his administration for the well being of the people of the State”,
“Come to security situation across all nooks and crannies of Ardo Kola, the activities of kidnapping, robbery, rape, among other criminal acts have reduced to the barest minimum”,
“Critical Stakeholders, Traditional Rulers and Religious Leaders, youths and women groups are speaking with one voice in support of Dr. Kefas achievements for the past one year”,
“Our amiable Governor has given hope to the people of the State with the declaration of free primary and secondary education, which has motivated our children to wake up every morning in preparation to go to school”, he said.
The Council Chairman also expressed happiness over the local government’s on-going shopping mall christened, ‘Kefas’ palliative market’ situated at Sunkani, headquarters of Ardo Kola Local Government Area of the State.
He finally prayed God to protect and guide Governor Kefas as he pilots the affairs of the State and also wish him as he commences his 2nd year in office.
