As Muslims celebrates Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebrations, the Speaker Kano State House of Assembly Speaker, Jibril Ismail Falgore Felicitates with the Muslim Ummah in Kano, Nigeria, and around the world on the occasion of this year’s festivity.
In a statement by spokesperson to the speaker Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore identified Eid-el-Kabir as a reminder of the need to sacrifice, share, and love one another.
He called on the Ummah to continue to imbibe the spirit of the celebration as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and upheld by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In the spirit of the session, Falgore assures the people of Kano State that, quality legislation remains sacrosanct to the members of the Kano Assembly as quality bills are underway for the betterment of the people of the State.
He reiterated the Kano Assembly’s unwavering commitment towards uplifting the standard and wellbeing of Kano citizens through legislation aimed at addressing the socio-economic challenges facing Kano while working with Abba Kabir Yusuf’s led Administration.
“I wish you all a happy Sallah celebration. I equally urge the Muslim Ummah not to relent but to continue praying for the state’s peace and unity and to tolerate one another irrespective of all differences for the development of Kano State.”
