The Executive Chairman of Ardo Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, Hon. Ismaila Zakari (Dangote) has attributed the successful and peaceful celebration of the 2024 Eid-el Kabir Festival to the needed support given to the Muslim Umar by Governor Agbu Kefas.
Dangote, who stated this while responding to questions from Journalists in his Jalingo residence said the whole atmosphere was peaceful, no security breaches across the ten Wards of the local government.
Some of the wards visited to monitor how the festivity fared, Dangote said, Muslims were seen celebrating in their various homes with family members and friends.
While thanking Allah for the grace, Dangote also thanked Dr. Kefas for his support saying the Governor in his one year in office has touched the lives of the people of Ardo Kola local government positively.
“I don’t think that the people of Ardo Kola and Taraba State as a whole are facing any economic recession owing to Dr. Kefas’ style of leadership”,
“Our people are now sleeping with their two eyes closed because of the governor’s mutual support, understanding and cooperation with security agencies and the critical Stakeholders from the local government”,
“We in Ardo Kola have prayed for governor Kefas to complete his Eight years in good health and without any breaches”, he said.
Hon. Ismaila Zakari Dangote however, refuted allegations making the rounds that due to economic hardship experienced across the Country, the 2024 Eid-el Kabir Festival was celebrated in a very low-key across the State.
He described the allegation as baseless and unfounded and pointed out that Muslims in Ardo Kola and Taraba State as a whole really prepared for the ceremony and didn’t lack anything.
The Chairman also called on all Muslims in his local government and the state to always abide by the teachings of the Holy Quran by co-existing peacefully with one another, extending their hands of friendship with one another sacrificially and by being their brother’s keepers.
