Governor Ahmadu umaru Fintiri has approved the payment of N70,000 new minimum wage to Adamawa workers at both the state and the local governments level.
This was disclosed when the state Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress, (NLC), Comrade Emmanuel.Fashe, led other labour leaders to an interactive meeting with the governor at Government House Yola, the state capital.
Fashe explained that the new minimum wage in the state will take effect from this month of August, 2024.
