Plateau Cultural Organizations Lauded Gov.Mutfwang Peace Initiation

Caleb Mutfwang, the Plateau state governor has received commendation from leaders of cultural organisations and ethnic nationalities for his efforts to unite the people and provide quality services.

This praise came during a familiarization visit from Dan Kwada, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Middle Belt Nationalities.

Kwada, while addressing the nationalities separately in Jos, emphasized the governor’s passion for addressing the challenges facing the Middle Belt region, particularly insecurity and land grabbing.

He stressed that the creation of his office aimed to promote inclusiveness and unity among the nationalities.

Da Gyang Dudu, President, Berom Cultural and Educational Organization (BECO), expressed gratitude for the governor’s appointment of Kwada, highlighting the office’s significance in addressing the peculiar challenges faced by the Middle Belt nationalities.

Other leaders who spoke noted that the Middle Belt has been subjected to oppression and marginalization, emphasizing the need for recognition and equal treatment.

They appreciated the governor’s initiative, acknowledging the Middle Belt movement’s ideological roots and the importance of identity in connecting the nationalities.

During the visits, Kwada was received by various leaders and nationalities where they pledged their support for the governor’s administration, acknowledging his efforts to foster unity.
