The Gombe state Governor, Inuwa Yahaya had bags an ward of the Institute of Cooperative Professionals of Nigeria.

Presenting the award to the Governor in Gombe, the national President of the Institute of Cooperative Professionals of Nigeria, Dr Olubunmi Adebayo Fojabi at the closing of Mandatory Continuous Training for six states of the North East sub region, said the award is in recognition of the people Governor contributions in the development of cooperative society in the state.
According to Dr. Fojabi, the two day training is to update members of the modern challenges and to improve the quality of the activities of the cooperative societies.
President said the national body of group is aware with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s vital role in the activities of cooperative society in Gombe state to include the recent distribution of fertilizer, financial support and encouragement to perform better.

Some participants interviewed described the training as first of it’s kind as if they are going to start operations just now.
While thanking the organisers of the event for creating avenues to update them with the modern technologies of operations.
Gombe state received another award for best in hospitality and accomodation, Cooperative of the Nurses and midwives received the award for the highest number of participants in the training, while Adamawa state had received the award of full participation.
