In a recent meeting held in Baissa, the administrative headquarters of Kurmi LGA, Maihankali outlined his administration’s goals to local Councilors, advisers, and traditional chiefs.

He emphasized the importance of developing institutions dedicated to healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

As part of this effort, the chairman highlighted initiatives such as providing free medical surgeries and offering scholarships to students in the fields of medicine and law.

“To restore Kurmi’s God-given position in Taraba State and in Nigeria, we must focus on building strong institutions,” Maihankali stated.

“By strengthening healthcare, providing educational support, and focusing on budget discipline, we can pave the way for sustainable growth in Kurmi.”

Maihankali also called on Kurmi residents to foster harmony, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence as the local government pursues its vision for development.

“We must come together and set aside political differences to secure a brighter future for our children,” he added.

In a continued effort to support the agricultural sector, Maihankali mentioned a partnership with international organizations to establish a training center for agricultural extension workers.

A strong agricultural industry requires skilled and motivated workers, and we’re committed to making this a reality,” he said.

The chairman assured stakeholders of his commitment to their collaborative efforts, stating that, “Your input will guide our decisions. This is about building a future for Kurmi that goes beyond politics and serves all residents.”

Traditional council members, Councilors, and advisers pledged their support for Maihankali’s vision, expressing optimism about the transformation of Kurmi Local Government under his leadership.
