The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Bali has extended condolences to the Rector, Dr. Mohammed Usman, following the death of his mother, Hajia Halimah Usman, who passed away last Wednesday in Gwoza, Borno State.
In a statement signed by the Council Chairman, Dr. Jibrin Saba Kolo, the Council described death as an inevitable phenomenon and a transition to eternal life.
He expressed heartfelt wishes for Allah’s mercy and for Hajia Halimah Usman to be rewarded with Aljannatul Firdaus. Dr. Kolo, on behalf of the entire Council, conveyed sympathies to the family for their irreparable loss, hoping they find strength to bear the void left by her passing.
The Council Chairman further extended condolences to the Polytechnic family and the Bali community. Dr. Mohammed Usman, in his response to the condolence message, thanked the Council for their support during this difficult time.
It is also noted that some members of the Council and the Management had visited Gwoza last Saturday to offer their condolences in person.
