The Christmas celebrations in Kwara State were marked by vibrant worship and messages of hope and unity.

Christians gathered in churches, expressing gratitude for the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his sermon, Right Reverend Sunday Adewole, Bishop of the Diocese of Kwara, emphasized that Christ’s birth bridged the gap between God and humanity, urging people to celebrate responsibly and avoid entering the new year burdened by debts.

Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi, representing the state government, reassured citizens of efforts to improve the economic situation and called for unity across religious and ethnic lines.
The retired Bishop, Right Reverend Philip Adeyemo, encouraged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith.

The celebrations highlighted themes of resilience and solidarity amidst economic challenges.
