Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance and Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Sani Musa, has called on Christians to embrace the true essence of Christmas, which he described as embodying love, compassion, and generosity.
In a press statement issued on Christmas, the lawmaker urged Nigerians to extend a helping hand to those in need and make sacrifices to support the weak and vulnerable in their communities.
He encouraged Christians to celebrate responsibly, exercise caution, and prioritize safety during the festive season.
Senator Musa also called for prayers for the Niger East Senatorial District, particularly for divine intervention to address the persistent insecurity challenges that have caused untold hardship for the people.
He reaffirmed his commitment to defending and advancing the interests of the people of Niger East, ensuring their voices are heard both in the Senate and beyond, and delivering the benefits of democracy to the communities.
Wishing a joyful and peaceful Christmas, Senator Musa expressed hope that the season would bring renewed hope and blessings to the homes of all.
