Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has extended a heartfelt message to Christians in the state and across the world, urging them to embrace the true values of Christmas—love, peace, reconciliation, and selflessness.
He encouraged individuals to reflect on the spiritual meaning of the season and to pray for the peace, prosperity, and wellbeing of Gombe State and Nigeria.
In his message, the Governor highlighted the virtues of love, sacrifice, and compassion, which were exemplified by Jesus Christ, and urged people to use this festive time to foster unity, understanding, and cooperation for a peaceful and progressive society.
He also underscored the importance of brotherhood and communal support in maintaining peace and stability in Gombe State.
As Chairman of the Northern States Governors Forum, Governor Inuwa called for continued support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at building a resilient and prosperous Nigeria.
Acknowledging the challenges facing the nation, he encouraged optimism and resilience, emphasizing that collective efforts would lead to a brighter future.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to advancing development in Gombe State, promising to work tirelessly toward creating a more prosperous and inclusive future for all its residents.
