Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has called on the people of the state to embrace unity for the sake of development.
In his special New Year message delivered in Jalingo, he emphasized that unity is essential for fostering progress and expressed optimism that 2025 would bring prosperity, joy, and fulfillment to the citizens of Taraba.
The governor highlighted the achievements of his administration, particularly in the areas of peace and security.
He described peace as the cornerstone of progress and noted that his government had strengthened security efforts through initiatives like the Joint Intelligence Network and the expansion of the Taraba Marshall.
According to Kefas, his administration has worked closely with traditional institutions and neighboring states to ensure safety and stability.
In the area of healthcare, Governor Kefas shared that his administration has been constructing new healthcare centers to offer free medical care for children.
He also outlined plans for infrastructure development, including the construction of additional roads, bridges, modern markets, and the completion of water projects and parks.
