Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, celebrated the New Year on Friday by hosting a funfair for special needs children, adopted kids, and inmates at the Juvenile Correctional Home in Ilorin.

The event, organized by the Kwara State Ministry of Social Development, demonstrated the Governor’s commitment to supporting the underprivileged and promoting inclusion.
Governor AbdulRazaq engaged with the children, caregivers, and dignitaries, dancing, interacting, and cutting a New Year cake together.

The event featured games and activities like balloon blowing, dance contests, and headgear-tying competitions, with prizes for winners.

The Commissioner for Social Development, Olaitan Abosede Buraimoh, and other officials praised the Governor’s continuous support for vulnerable groups, especially children with disabilities.
