Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reiterated his commitment to driving infrastructure development and promoting unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

During a meeting with the Ifelodun APC Elders’ Council in Ilorin, the Governor stressed the need for unity and mutual understanding to ensure the party’s continued success.

He emphasized that a divided party would not thrive, and urged party members to work together for a prosperous and stable future.

AbdulRazaq praised the Elders’ Council, led by Senator Makanjuola Ajadi, for their support and contributions to the APC’s growth.

He also assured that the administration was addressing key demands in areas such as road construction, social amenities, and political appointments.

Notable infrastructure projects, including the Orisa bridge linking Irepodun and Ifelodun local governments, have already been completed.

However, the Governor expressed concerns about the performance of some contractors, such as those handling the Ora township road, and pledged to take necessary steps to resolve the issues.

Senator Ajadi commended the Governor for his achievements, which he said were visible across the state, and highlighted specific areas like road construction, hospital rehabilitation, and school upgrades.

He urged the Governor to focus on improving critical roads like the Oro-Ago to Oke-Oyan road.

APC Chairman in Ifelodun, Arch. Lukman Abubakar, also expressed appreciation for the administration’s interventions, particularly on the Ajase-Ipo/Igbaja road, while calling for attention to other roads, including Igbaja-Oke-Ode/Sagbe and Marafa/Oke-Ode roads.

Other members of the delegation echoed similar calls for further development, while also recognizing the Governor’s achievements in Ifelodun.

The Governor reassured the elders of his administration’s commitment to equitable development and urged them to maintain peace and unity within the party.
