The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, recently addressed concerns over the behavior of some students who, in viral videos, negatively represented the university.

The students, wearing KWASU matriculation gowns, were criticized for inappropriate conduct that undermined the institution’s values of excellence.

Professor Jimoh emphasized that the reputation of the university is a collective responsibility, urging students to uphold its integrity.

He praised KWASU alumni for their global achievements and reassured the community that disciplinary measures would be taken against the students involved.

The Vice-Chancellor also urged students to focus on their academic goals, promising continued support for their success.
