Barrister Debo Aderibigbe, a prominent APC Stalwart and Legal Luminary in Kwara State, has praised Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her impactful initiatives aimed at empowering women and improving education across Nigeria.
He commended her historic three-day visit to Kwara, during which she contributed significantly to various sectors such as agriculture, education, health, and economic development through her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
Aderibigbe expressed particular appreciation for the commissioning of an ICT Community Centre, a collaborative project between RHI and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), at Kwara State University of Education, Ilorin.
The centre, named after the late Hajia Amina Ndalolo, aims to increase digital access and equip the community with valuable digital skills, boosting their livelihood opportunities.
Aderibigbe urged the local community to fully embrace the Centre, emphasizing its potential to uplift the most vulnerable in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He also lauded Senator Tinubu for distributing 10,000 professional kits to midwives in the North Central Region, further showcasing her dedication to improving healthcare services for women and families.
Aderibigbe further acknowledged the contributions of Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, especially his leadership in hosting the First Lady and his efforts to improve the state’s infrastructure, economy, and human capital development.
Aderibigbe praised the Governor for pioneering initiatives such as compensating over 1,000 landowners and farmers as part of the expansion of the Industrial Park in Eiyenkorin, which he noted as a significant step toward economic transformation.
Lastly, Aderibigbe encouraged the citizens to adopt a culture of maintenance and care for the legacy projects initiated by the state government.
