The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has congratulated Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, following his conferment with an honorary Fellowship Award by the Kwara State College of Education, Oro. The award was presented during the institution’s 13th Combined Convocation ceremony on January 30, 2025.

In a statement, ALGON, led by Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi, praised the college management for honoring Fagbemi in recognition of his significant contributions to education, community development, and political mobilization in Kwara State.
The statement highlighted Fagbemi’s role in promoting political unity and stability within the state, noting that his efforts have contributed to a more harmonious political environment. Danladi described the recognition as a well-deserved honor, adding that it serves as an inspiration to other political leaders.

ALGON expressed confidence that Fagbemi would continue to prioritize education and community service, contributing to the future of young people and strengthening the societal foundation.
