In a remarkable gesture aimed at empowering the future of his community, Honorable Yohanna Sahabo Jauro Kuya, the lawmaker representing Mubi South constituency, has sponsored the free registration of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams for over 200 students.
This initiative underscores his unwavering commitment to improving access to education and fostering academic excellence in the constituency.
The free registration exercise, which began at Hon. Kuya’s residence in Mubi, has been met with widespread gratitude from students and parents.
The initiative is part of the lawmaker’s ongoing efforts to bridge the educational gap in his constituency and ensure that financial constraints do not hinder students’ academic aspirations.
Honorable Kuya has long been an advocate for educational development. His recent initiative reflects his vision of a brighter future, where all students, regardless of their financial background, have an equal opportunity to pursue higher education.

In 2024, he provided scholarships to 15 students pursuing careers in the health sector and donated 600 chairs to 47 primary schools in Mubi South, further demonstrating his dedication to educational development in the area.
