The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially begun processing visas for intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj. This was announced by the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, during a management meeting in his office on February 19, 2025.

Alhaji Lamin reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to facilitating a smooth visa process for all pilgrims in the state, urging all Directors to remain vigilant as the pilgrims’ grouping system will continue as it has in previous years.
In a statement signed by the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman A. Dederi, Alhaji Lamin emphasized that the process was now underway, urging prompt action for all intending pilgrims.

The Director of Hajj Operations, Alhaji Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, called on those yet to submit their international passports to do so immediately, as the visa processing has already commenced. He further assured that the Board would collaborate with Local Government Hajj Center Officers to ensure the pilgrims’ grouping aligns with Saudi Arabian authorities’ regulations.
The Board has made all necessary arrangements to ensure that no intending pilgrim is left behind in the process.
