President Bola Tinubu is set to chair the National Caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) today, February 25, 2025, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
This was confirmed by the APC’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, in an exclusive interview with The NEWSPOINTER.
Basiru assured that President Tinubu’s attendance had been confirmed, dispelling any concerns that the meeting might be postponed. “By the grace of God, the President will be there,” Basiru stated.
The APC National Caucus meeting, along with the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for February 26, 2025, are crucial for the party’s operations.
Both sessions had previously been postponed in September 2024, raising concerns over their rescheduling. However, Basiru confirmed that the meetings would go ahead as planned, with no further delays.
The meetings are expected to be attended by key party figures, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Muhammadu Buhari, APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Senate President Dr. Godswill Akpabio, current and former APC governors, and other important party stakeholders.
These sessions will mark Dr. Ganduje’s first as the APC National Chairman, further highlighting the significance of the events.
The Caucus meeting will take place at 6:00 pm at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, while the NEC meeting will be held the following day at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
