Taraba NULGE, thanked Govt, Cooperate Organizations during their trying times

The Taraba State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Government, individuals, and organizations who offered condolences and support following the tragic death of three union officials and their official driver in a fatal motor accident on the Mutum-Biyu and Jalingo road.

In a press statement issued in Jalingo, Comrade Bajison Wakili Damunga, the state president of NULGE, conveyed deep gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas, the Speaker and members of the State House of Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, commissioners, Local Government Council Chairmen, as well as Traditional and Spiritual leaders. He also acknowledged the many individuals and organizations who extended their sympathies.

The union particularly expressed appreciation for the kind gestures and support from the National Secretariat of NULGE, Bureau for local and chieftaincy Affairs, which provided comfort during this difficult time.

Comrade Damunga highlighted that the outpouring of condolences, prayers, and support from both within and outside the state has provided significant consolation for the union during their time of grief.

The statement further appreciate Governor Agbu Kefas for the payment of seventy thousand minimum wage and prayed for God’s blessings on all who offered their support and for the families of the deceased to find strength in bearing the loss.
