The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called for a renewed commitment to national reorientation, focusing on grassroots engagement and the promotion of civic responsibility, patriotism, and technological advancement.
During her official visit to the NOA Niger State Directorate on March 6, North Central Zonal Director, Princess Dr. Priscilla Gondoaluor, emphasized the need for individual commitment in driving national transformation.
Dr. Gondoaluor urged NOA staff to deepen their efforts in promoting national values and government policies, stressing that true change starts with the people.
“We must build Nigerians to build Nigeria,” she remarked, urging the agency to foster a mindset shift that prioritizes national interest over personal gain.
She also called for the full integration of the agency’s “7 for 7” initiative, which includes outlining the seven responsibilities of government, the seven obligations of citizens, and key policies for institutional reform.
In addition, Dr. Gondoaluor highlighted the need for NOA staff to develop digital skills to enhance their efficiency and adapt to the rapidly changing world.
Welcoming Dr. Gondoaluor, Mallam Yahaya Ibrahim Gbongbo, the NOA Niger State Director, expressed appreciation for the visit, noting it as a morale booster for staff and a sign of NOA’s continued commitment to Niger State.
As part of her tour, Dr. Gondoaluor visited the Chairmen of Chanchaga and Bosso Local Government Areas (LGAs), where she stressed the importance of local government collaboration in ensuring government policies are understood and implemented at the grassroots level.
The LGA chairmen pledged their commitment to strengthening civic engagement and supporting NOA’s initiatives within their communities.
Dr. Gondoaluor’s visit underscored NOA’s dedication to fostering national unity through value reorientation, local collaboration, and modernized engagement strategies.
