The First Lady of Bauchi State, Haj Aisha Bala Mohammed, has extended her heartfelt greetings to women across the state and worldwide, celebrating their achievements and contributions to society. In a press release issued by her Chief Press Secretary, Murjanatu Musa Maidawa, the First Lady emphasized the importance of recognizing the pivotal roles women play in shaping the future of families, communities, and nations.

Haj Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniyar Bauchi) highlighted the strength, resilience, and determination of women, noting that despite the challenges they face, they continue to rise and contribute meaningfully to societal progress.

“This day serves as a reminder of the invaluable contributions that women make in every aspect of life. From leaders to caregivers, educators to innovators, women are the cornerstone of progress and the driving force behind change in our society,” she said.

The First Lady also acknowledged the significance of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Accelerate Action: Reflecting our Commitment to Gender Equality,” which calls for greater inclusion and leadership for women in fields such as innovation and technology.

“As a government, we are committed to ensuring that women in Bauchi State have access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities,” Hajiya Aisha added. “Our administration, under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Bala Mohammed, continues to implement programs that provide women with the tools they need to succeed and lead in all aspects of life.”

Hajiya Mohammed concluded her message by urging women in Bauchi State and around the world to continue inspiring and uplifting each other. She called for a collective effort to build a future where gender equality is truly realized.

“As we reflect on the strides we’ve made, let us also acknowledge the work that still lies ahead. Let us commit to breaking down barriers and building a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive,” she concluded.
