The Taraba State Commissioner for Information, Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo, has addressed recent speculations surrounding the health of the state’s Deputy Governor, dismissing widespread rumors of an impending impeachment.

In a press briefing, Barr. Usman vehemently rejected claims that the Deputy Governor’s health issues were a cause for concern or that impeachment proceedings were being initiated.
She described these allegations as “completely unfounded” and part of an orchestrated campaign to destabilize the state government.

The Commissioner emphasized that the Deputy Governor is in good health, assuring the public that there is no cause for alarm.
Usman also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the principles of good governance, transparency, and the continued effective leadership of all state officials.

This statement comes amidst growing speculation and political tension within the state. However, Barr. Usman’s remarks aim to calm the public and restore confidence in the administration’s stability.
